Anxiety creeps

Anxiety creeps
As worms in petals in bloom;
Anxiety creeps
And spreads and drips
On the floor of the room
Through chinks in scrawlings of gloom.
Anxiety creeps.

Anxiety creeps... indeed it does. You've addressed a sensation to which many relate, and done a fine job of honoring the rondelet form too. Nicely done.

What a great metaphor you have devised in this Rondelet. It's very effective.

Thank you for sharing your work on Real Toads.
