There should be a zone beyond words -
a space beyond fences of bruised little selves
no trenches of guilt
no papers to settle the scores you'd kept
nor even baggage of problems unsolved.
A zone beyond words
where desire will dance
with rhythms of our hearts
and breathe in an ecstasy of limbs.
A zone beyond words
where lips that would kiss would part for no words
and the script of our eyes would clearly suffice
for a rhapsody of light in our tides.

How can you measure love, when all you need is to be engulfed?
wonderful expression of words that paint a wonderful piece of art without too many brush strokes.
lovely write, mi amigo
Exquisite use of language and images up to the killer last two lines. Kudos!
When speaking through eyes, words aren't needed.
it is there...there is that place where no words are needed and the love finds its own way to communicate....uaully reserved for a much more mature love...smiles.
I like what you did with this concept. Sometimes words are secondary to the workings of the heart.
Beautiful.
Yes words can be light as nothing... a single glance or a kiss speaks much louder.
You have used such beautiful language here, which transports the reader to the very plane you write about......very lovely, Abin. I especially like the "bruised little selves".
I really like this poem. Such a flow and vibrant ending.
Lovely: wish, repetition, what to have there and what to leave out. Perfect!
I guess there should be a zone where all things are smooth and forgiven. Lovely poem, I can connect with it.

Sweet!

Visceral and emotive. Poetry somehow lingers on the edge of that zone, I think. Beautifully woven.
Your word choice really made this poem. Great job!
